Welcome from Rust and Cpp Cardiff! All levels welcome!

Join us as we start our journey into the excellent Rust for Rustaceans by Jon Gjengset. This session will be the first in a series of sessions working through chapters in the book. The book is an excellent next step for diving that little bit deeper into understanding Rust. To get the most out of these sessions, reading the chapter before hand is strongly recommended, but not required.

This first session will cover Chapter 1: Foundations. This chapter covers the key concepts and terminology around memory and ownership in Rust. It sets us up with the core essentials needed for the rest of the book, so is definitely not one to miss!

Recordings of previous meetups are available on youtube. We also have a discord server for chatting between meetups - message any of the meetup organizers for the discord link.
