This talk will introduce the listener to the concepts and basics of SIMD, and how the Rust programmer may use it to their advantage. It will demonstrate opportunities for optimisation, show how the compiler can write SIMD for the programmer, how they can help the compiler write SIMD, and finally how the programmer can write SIMD code themselves.
