Come on down to the monthly rust meetup. This meetup is meant to talk about and share anything to do with the Rust programming language.

This month we have Charlie Marsh giving a talk on building out super fast Python tooling! [Charlie](https://crmarsh.com/) works on [Astral](https://astral.sh/) building out high performance Python tooling so it should be pretty cool!

The meetup starts at 6:30 to give people plenty of time to grab pizza and socialize, and then the talk will start around 7:30!

His goal is to make the Python ecosystem more productive by building [faster developer tools](https://notes.crmarsh.com/python-tooling-could-be-much-much-faster).
He was most recently a staff software engineer at [Spring Discovery](https://www.springdiscovery.com/). Before that, he was a senior software engineer at [Khan Academy](https://www.khanacademy.org/).
