Rust NYC: The perks and pitfalls of using Rust for codegen

Details

Join us on Tuesday, July 8th, for an exciting talk from Justin Bennet about code generation from Rust structures to SDKs. His talk will be rooted in the experiences he gained building a desktop application framework (gh: zephraph/webview) and the work he's done with Oxide.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. to give attendees plenty of time to grab pizza and socialize, and the talk begins at 7:30 p.m.

It should be a good time! Hope to see you there!

Lawrence Harvey is Rust NYC's official recruitment partner, with Ross providing support as a co-organizer and financial support for food and drinks.

The space is generously sponsored by Materialize, with Guillermo's help coordinating. Materialize is developing products using a cutting-edge, wire-compatible incremental caching database compatible with PostgreSQL. This platform enables you to query massive datasets and perform multi-table joins at speeds unreachable by PostgreSQL alone.
