Calling all Rustaceans! We are starting our very first Rust community meetup in Singapore! Rust was voted the most loved programming language on Stack Overflow, and we will learn more about it together!

In this session, we will begin with an introduction to Rust, explore some Rust projects, and have a Q&A session. We are currently finalising the details for the event, so please be patient but check in frequently for updates!

Steve Ng is the head of Developer Relations for New Relic Asia Pacific and has been in the industry for more than a decade in different roles. In New Relic, Steve focuses on Open Source, Observability, Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps practices, cloud-native architecture, AIOps, and developer experience.

Speaker: Dylan Ho
Dylan Ho is a versatile software engineer with a rich tapestry of experiences that traverse both startup and big tech environments. With expertise spanning frontend and backend development, Dylan excels in multiple programming languages and frameworks, including Kotlin, React, NodeJS, and Golang. At Google Germany, Dylan drove impactful solutions, reducing support queries and overhauling user account types. In the Carousell ecosystem, Dylan implemented a PWA that optimized webpage performance. He is currently a senior engineer overhauling Shopback's backend architecture.
