While the https://rust-for-linux.com/ project exists since quite some time, first parts of Rust support for the Linux kernel landed in the 6.1 release.
This made me curious and I started a journey to try and build a Linux kernel for ArchLinux with support for kernel modules written in Rust.
On this journey I learned quite a lot which I'd like to share in this talk.
