Introducing the Mutation Observer by Matt Clough

Presentation Abstract

An iteration on the Mutation Events API, Mutation Observers have been around for a few years now, and yet they still seem to be relatively unknown. As part of the DOM spec, they offer the relatively powerful ability to handle any change in the DOM using callbacks, but when exactly would one want to use Mutation Observers, and what for? In this talk we'll look at how Mutation Observers work and explore a few use cases to see just how useful they could be.
