FREE ADMISSION – 1757 Ashland St., Ashland, OR. One mile west of I-5 Exit 14.

Do you like Ashland, Oregon history? Join Peter Finkle in a journey “down the history rabbit hole” to explore stories of time and space; of local, state, and national civics; of pioneers and wealthy folks; of near-death and rebirth, both physical and metaphorical; of perseverance, inspiration, and happy endings.

All of these stories are connected with two Ashland houses:

#1: The house on Scenic Drive that introduced me, through a series of surprises, to my grandmother’s namesake!

#2: The house “with 11 lives” that was built on East Main Street but is not there now.

Local historian Peter Finkle offers Ashland walking tours, photo-filled presentations to local groups, and the premiere blog and website about Ashland; WalkAshland.com. Discover Ashland secrets even locals don’t know.

Peter’s walking tours cover Ashland history, art, culture, theater- and Haunted Ashland stories.

An Ashland resident since 1991, Peter also writes for Ashland.news and other publications.
