UX First Aid

Details
Hey, it’s two weeks untill release; can you work your “UX magic” to make it look good?
We don’t have time for user research, we know what the users want anyway.
I found this cool site for X; just make it like that (“it” being the most un-X-like thing imaginable)
Sound familiar? We all know how we’d love to respond: withering look, followed by derisive snort and slow saunter off into the distance shaking your head, maybe an unsubtle hand gesture held high for extra effect. Obviously, that’s not an appropriate response…usually. So what to do?
Let’s get together for an evening of commiserating, brainstorming, and ideating our way out of sticky situations facing people working in UX. We’ll tee up the scenarios. You’ll break out into teams, create a first aid style poster, and list of tools. How do you recognize trouble? What can you do to stabilize things? Where should you go for help?
This is going to be a lot of fun and you’ll come away armed with some tools for dealing with those sticky situations.
Special thanks to our gracious host, Renovate America (https://www.renovateamerica.com/), for providing the venue, food, and beverages.
