Day Hike (2B): Tassajara Creek Headwaters (Delta-Sierra Group)

Located near Mt Diablo, this outing’s features include riparian, native American, early ranching/farming history, and large old live oaks, with good trail tread on State Park maintained trails. Avoidable poison oak on 1 mile of trail. Hiking distance 8.2 miles and 1,000’ elevation change.
Trails exposed; sunscreen is advised. Dogs on leash OK. Rain cancels. Leader keeps a slow pace with frequent stops. Gear list and other information will be provided after approval.
Each participant must bring a completed confidential Sierra Club Medical Form (please see https://tinyurl.com/2p8dtefp). Each participant will be required to sign the Sierra Club Sign-In & Waiver Form at the Trailhead.
