Diedre will present a program to discuss NASA’s Earth Science Division’s role in the planetary and deep-space exploration of Earth. We will hear about the more than 20 satellites in orbit, the research programs sponsored, and studies NASA has developed to observe the oceans, land cover, ice, atmosphere and life on our planet. The observatory provides valuable information on issues like climate change, severe weather, and global food production. Please join us for what will be a fascinating and informative presentation.
