What we’re about
This is the Orange County Poker Club. We have been hosting friendly, competitive poker games for over 10 years here in Orange County. We host both Live and Online Poker Games. Live games are located 2 exits south of the Irvine Spectrum right off the 5 Freeway so it is an easy drive for anyone. The online games we started since covid and we play on the PokerBros app in our own private club. Some Addition FAQ at the bottom
For the LIVE games we play No Limit Texas Hold'em and have a low and mid stakes poker games that run every week. For the Low stakes game the buy in are $100-$400 with the blinds being $2-$3. For the mid stakes game the buy ins are $200-$1000 with blinds being $5-$5.
For the ONLINE games we play on the PokerBros App and we have daily tournaments and cash games. There are tournaments with 5 buy ins all the way up to 100. For the cash games there is typically 6-10 tables of no limit texas holdem and pot limit Omaha going at all times. There are blinds as low as 0.2/0.4 all the way up to 5/10. These Games are hosted on the PokerBros App in our private club. (Club ID# 1609201)
We operate very similar to how a casino does with profession dealers, a WSOP table with a shufflemaster and a safe environment. What we offer more then a casino or card room is an overall better experience. A lot of the players that come tend to become friends and it has created a good community. It is also a great environment for networking as a lot of the players are working professionals or business owners themselves.

What is the Rake: I do very well in my day job so I do not need to rake.
Why don't I see any RSVPs on Meet-up: This is because I send a game text out to everyone the day of the game and everyone RSVPs by texting back. Meet-up is only a small fraction of the player pool. How many people typically play per night: Throughout 2021 we have averaged 25-35 players per night.
Do I have to show up at 6:30pm: No that's just when it starts, come whenever you are available. About half the people show up at 630 so we will have 2 tables going by 7 with the rest showing up throughout the night.
Can I use electronic payments like Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, Bitcoin to buy in: Yes, Although cash is always preferred Electronic payments can be safer and easier to use.
Will I have to deal: No, we have professional dealers just like at the casinos
Should I eat before I come. Definitely Not, We always have great food. I love eating just as much as poker so I always get great food. Food and Drinks are always complimentary
Can I bring a friend or friends: Yes, The majority of players have been introduced to the game from a friend.
What time do the games run until: 2 or 3am at the latest, I have a day job I need to be functional for.
How did the game get started. Like many of you some friends and I started getting together for a weekly poker game about 10 years ago and over the years it has turned into what it is today.
