Hike Pedernales Falls State Park

IMPORTANT: Make your day pass reservation now for 8:00AM-10:AM entry - https://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/pedernales-falls. Also note that we need at least 6 confirmed attendees to make sure we have this hike. Please make sure you change your RSVP on Friday if you are not going to make it.

We will start at the Pedernales Falls trail where we'll go and climb around on the falls and take lots of pictures (we will be in this area for about an hour). We'll then move to another parking lot where we will do a 5 to 8 mile hike including Trammell's Crossing which will requiring wading across the river.

Be prepared to get your shoes wet or change into water shoes for the river crossing. Please note with the hot dry weather the river will most likely be only ankle deep.

Recommended: water, snacks, lunch, insect repellent, and water shoes or shoes you don't mind getting wet.

After for those interested we can go have lunch at the Pecan Grill.

Where to Park & Meet:
We will park & meet at the Pedernales Falls Trail System trailhead at the far north of the park it is the trail to the waterfall parking lot.
