Meets in-person at CEC room D110 and/or online via Zoom/Canvas on Wednesday mornings for 8 weeks between 5/27-7/18.
Learn of embroidery techniques from around the world and over the centuries and explore possibilities as you create projects that pay homage to these fabulous techniques.
Join us in learning contemporary twists on timeless Hand Embroidery techniques.
Experience the joy of gathering and creating with those of this shared interest as well as the benefit of this activity serving as gentle exercise for hands and fingers. This course is created to satisfy both the expert with needle and thread as well as those beginning to learn and explore the art of embroidery both for fun and for profit.
This summer session, Embellished Embroidery Extravaganza, will provide students with instruction on and opportunities to embellish apparel, home furnishings, and wall art with a variety of embroidered stitches, beads, sequins, and more.
