Crawdads on the Lake!

Crawdads on the Lake in Folsom is an amazing place to be! It has a super nice layout with amazing views from the top of a cliff overlooking the American River. This a super early happy hour event, as their happy hour window only goes from 3-5pm. Regardless, show up when you can and enjoy the fun! Some folks will arrive late and stay past 6pm.

With the beautiful weather, we'll mostly be out on the deck overlooking the river. Order your food and drinks at the bar.

Happy Hour includes $3 off select drafts, $2 off wine, $1 off well drinks. Their Chowder Fries and River Chips are legendary (french fries, clam chowder, cheddar cheese, bacon, green onions and parsley). Normally $18, but $14 during happy hour.

We have room for 20 on the guest list. If you are just a "maybe", please do not take a spot. Just mark your calendar and surprise us if you can!

Happy Hour before River Cats Game!

Baseball is back and we have River Cats tickets behind home plate! We're doing a little pregame warmup at Fannie Ann's before the Thursday, April 9th River Cats game. We'll get a happy hour group special on River Cats tickets. With our tickets, we get 20% off on food at Fannie Ann's. Fannie Ann's is a lot of fun and they have good happy hour drink specials. We'll get there as early as we can for a burger and drinks, then walk over to the ballpark at 6:30 sharp. I like to park in the brick parking structure in Old Sacramento near the Tower Bridge.

The first 36 to pay will get happy hour tickets. The rest can buy an individual ticket and it should not be a problem to come sit with us behind home plate in Section 110.

Venmo $18 to @CullenTime

Be sure to choose the "Pay FRIENDS and FAMILY" option. If you choose the other option, Venmo keeps some of the money and there could be tax issues.

This placed proved to be one of our favorites back in January! El Balcon Cantina is a terrific taqueria. It has a rich atmosphere, tasty margaritas ($6.50), lots of beers on tap ($7 - 24 oz), and house wine ($6). Food specials include wings, tacos, nachos, and giant quesadillas. We plan to arrive early and take over the bar.

The bar space is a little limited, so we're going to keep our guest list at 15 or so. If you are just a "maybe", please do not take a spot. Just mark your calendar and surprise us if you can. Salud!

We understand that 4:30 is pretty early for some. Just arrive whenever you can. Happy Hour lasts until 7pm.
