Tour Downtown & Old Sacramento Landmarks
Join us for a fun and informative 1.5-hour walking tour through the historic and cultural highlights of Downtown and Old Sacramento!
Meeting Spot: FREE PARKING at 11th & P Street. GPS 1100 P St
We typically have about 10 friendly walkers join us each week. Introductions begin promptly at 9:00 AM, and we’ll head out around 9:05 AM. The walk will be canceled if it’s drizzling at 8:30 AM.

What We’ll See:
Our journey includes a wide variety of iconic and historic sites, such as:

State Capitol
K Street Mall
Downtown Commons (DOCO)
Golden 1 Center
The underground tunnel into Old Sacramento
The Sacramento History Timeline
Underground mini-golf, Evangeline, and The Candy Barrel
The historic Big Four Building, Stage Nine, and The Delta King riverboat
The Railroad Depot, Eagle Theatre, Sacramento History Museum, and California State Railroad Museum

We'll stroll along the waterfront to spot:

A resident sea lion
The CalSTRS building
The iconic Ziggurat (Money Building)
Laughs Unlimited, Joe's Crab Shack, and more

On our way back, we’ll pass by:

Chinatown, the Amtrak Station, Federal Courthouse, County Jail
The Downtown Library, City Hall, and Cesar Chavez Plaza

Join our Asian Cooking Classes- We’re excited to invite you to our fun and engaging cooking classes! Each session is open to everyone in the community, and we can’t wait to cook and enjoy delicious meals together.

Tues, May 13, 6 pm - Korean Chap Chae Noodles, Napa Cabbage, and Tomatoes

Sat, May 17, 11 am - Vietnamese Chicken, Noodles, Daikon Salad, and Broccoli

Tues, May 20, 6 pm - $20 Shrimp Pad Thai, Asparagus, and Zucchini

Sat, May 24, 11 am - Korean Mung Bean noodles, Eggplant, and Bell Peppers

Tues, May 27, 6 pm - Kimchi Fried Rice, Bell Peppers, and Cabbage

Sat, May 31, 11 am - Vietnamese Chicken, Noodles, Daikon Salad, and Broccoli

What’s Included: Your meal includes seven delightful items: a protein dish, a vegetable dish, a stir-fry dish, a surprise dish, Jasmine rice, an Asian drink, and fruit.

Each class lasts two hours and includes introductions, veggie prep, cooking, and enjoying dinner together. It’s a fantastic way to learn new recipes and make new friends!

A $15 donation helps cover groceries, setup, cleanup, and planning for successful events. You can donate via Venmo (@Lina-Lee-20), PayPal, Zelle, or cash. After you pay, please text me at 916-879-1141 to secure your spot.
