Sacramento Riverfront Walk & History Tour
Take a stroll through Sacramento’s scenic riverfront and uncover the city’s rich past! This 2-mile walk features flat, easy terrain and 40 historic plaques that highlight key moments in Sacramento’s development. Along the way, we’ll enjoy fresh air, beautiful views, and great conversation. Whether you’re a history buff or just looking to explore something new, this walk is the perfect mix of learning and leisure.

Meeting Spot:
At the corner of U and Front Street.
GPS to California Auto Museum
Free parking is available all along U and Front Street.

Schedule:
🕕 Introductions begin at 6:00 PM
🚶‍♀️ We start walking around 6:05 PM
We usually have 8–12 walkers each week—newcomers are always welcome!
Important:
🌡️ The walk will be canceled if the forecasted high for the day is 95°F or above.

Join our Asian Cooking Classes- We’re excited to invite you to our fun and engaging cooking classes! Each session is open to everyone in the community, and we can’t wait to cook and enjoy delicious meals together.

Class Schedule:

Sat, August 2, 11 am - Korean Chap Chae, Napa Cabbage, and Celery

Tues, August 5, 6 pm - Siu Mai Pork Dumplings, Cauliflower, and Eggplant

Sat, August 9, 11 am - Desserts: Coconut Sticky Cake, Matcha cookies, and Mochi

Tues, August 12, 6 pm - Thai Pineapple or Kimchi Fried Rice, Tomatoes, and Green Beans

What’s Included: Your meal includes seven delightful items: a protein dish, a vegetable dish, a stir-fry dish, a surprise dish, Jasmine rice, an Asian drink, and fruit.

Each class lasts two hours and includes introductions, veggie prep, cooking, and enjoying dinner together. It’s a fantastic way to learn new recipes and make new friends!

A $20 donation helps cover groceries, setup, cleanup, and planning for successful events. You can donate via Venmo (@Lina-Lee-20), PayPal, Zelle, or cash. After you pay, please text me at 916-879-1141 to secure your spot.
