Manga book club - 1st Tuesdays! Cyberpunk Edgerunners

In honor of our 1 year manga club anniversary, we are switching it up and will be discussing an anime instead! 🥳

To add to the festivities, we will also be doing a manga gift exchange. If you want to participate, bring a new or gently used 1st volume of a series you want to share, wrapped.

“Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is an acclaimed, 10-episode adult animated sci-fi series (original net animation) co-produced by Japanese animation studio Studio Trigger.” (There’s a season 2 also!)

“Set in the dystopian, high-tech, and corrupt metropolis of Night City, a street kid named David loses his family in a sudden tragedy. He installs a high grade cyberware implant and falls in with a ruthless crew of outlaw cyberpunks.”

Then we can meet up and discuss! All are welcome even if you haven’t watched it. Hoping to make a fun group night to meet every month and check out different breweries around Sacramento.

Open to suggestions for future months for manga and locations. What’s your favs??

If you don’t know where to watch: Netflix!
