Manga book club - 1st Tuesdays! Reading: Hells Paradise, for May Meetup

Manga book club for May: we are reading Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku. We are aiming for the first 5 volumes.

“This is a Japanese manga series by Yuji Kaku about a death row ninja, Gabimaru, who is offered a pardon if he travels to a mysterious, dangerous island to find the elixir of immortality, accompanied by an executioner, Yamada Asaemon Sagiri, and other criminals. The series, set in Japan's Edo period, blends action, dark fantasy, adventure and horror as the group faces supernatural beings and deadly challenges on the island of Shinsenkyo. It was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 2018 to 2021 and has since been adapted into an anime.”

If you don’t know where to read: Shonen Jump is $4 a month and does have this manga (online only but will link through the app). Also there is MangaGo. Make a log-in or it’s real spammy. *MangaGo has it in color, so different chapter count than Shonen Jump.
