What's a "Dusty Task"?
You know that one thing you've been meaning to do for... a while? The pile of laundry. The messy notes. The email you keep opening and closing? We call these dusty tasks—the ones that feel impossible when you have ADHD. There's no urgency, no novelty, no dopamine rush—just a dry, mental desert. These are the emails you keep meaning to send, the forms that sit half-filled, the dishes you "could do anytime." They don't trigger interest or reward pathways, so you avoid, procrastinate, or give up. No one wants to walk alone in a desert. Let's do it together. Let's stop trying to power through and start getting things done in community.
