Welcome to the Sacramento Cyber Security Club (SCSC)! Whether you're a developer, IT professional, or someone with a keen interest in cybersecurity, this group is for you. SCSC is dedicated to providing a friendly and inclusive environment for individuals at all levels of technical expertise to explore and deepen their understanding of cybersecurity, with a particular focus on bug bounty hunting.
Our mission is to bring together like-minded individuals who are passionate about cybersecurity, bug bounty hunting, and ethical hacking. Through engaging lessons, hands-on workshops, and social networking opportunities, we aim to empower our members with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the ever-evolving landscape of cyber threats.

This Months Topic: AI Red Teaming: Prompt Injections & Guardrail Bypasses

Join us for this month’s SCSC (Sacramento Cyber Security Club) meetup as we dive into the emerging world of AI Red Teaming with guest speaker Dustin Farley.
In this high-impact, hands-on talk, Dustin will demonstrate how modern red teamers are bypassing LLM (Large Language Model) safety systems using:
- Direct and indirect prompt injections
- Multi-turn jailbreaks
- Prompt obfuscation tactics that confuse even the best defenses
This is an offense-only session. No defenses, no patching, just pure exploitation. You’ll walk away with a solid understanding of how attackers are weaponizing generative AI systems and why traditional filters aren’t enough.
🍻 As always, there will be good brews, great minds, and hands-on learning.
Bring a laptop if you want to follow along. This session is perfect for red teamers, AI researchers, prompt engineers, and security pros of all skill levels.
