Join the Sacramento Dinner and a Movie group for an afternoon/ evening of indie film magic with a delightful dining experience. The Sacramento Horror Film Festival (https://www.sachorrorfilmfest.com/) is showcasing a handpicked selection of thought-provoking indie films that are sure to spark conversations and leave you inspired. This is an annual event. 35 bucks for wall to wall weirdness from 12:30 to 9 or so.

Meet fellow film enthusiasts, enjoy a delicious meal together (I suggest Luigi's Pizza down the street, which last time I checked had pinball machines (Godzilla, The Munsters, Star Wars, Venom, and Junk Yard!!!)).

The Tower is screening A Better Tomorrow, another John Wu classic, and about a month after this event (03/01) they are screening The Killer (04/05) and the movie starts at 4:30. I'll be there around 4. Unusually epic opportunity as the films have been remastered in 4K, which is why they are being re-released. Meet up at Round1 or Das Flipperhouse in Roseville/Rocklin area, then caravan to neighboring Studio Movie Grill for the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie at 7:30. Cowabunga dude!
