Club 55-Sacto LGBT Community Center

As part of the support to the Senior LGBTQ+ community the Sacramento LGBT Community Center offers support groups every Thursday 1-230pm via Zoom. Not held at the Center but over your computer via Zoom. Steve & Sandie are the facilitators and welcome your suggestions for future topics. We are working to add two additional groups in 2026 that will meet at the Center 2nd & 4th Sundays 1-230pm. Look soon for more information about these two support groups.

The Sacramento LGBT Community Center will have a launch event for something new at the Center. For the 55+ crowd-- a social event. Maybe board games, cards and for Oct 22nd Speed Friending.

Like speed dating, where participants have short, timed conversations with different people to quickly get to know new individuals and potentially make friends. The goal is to meet many new people in a relaxed setting, using conversation prompts and icebreakers to foster connections without the pressure or romantic intentions of a dating event.

Facilitators Jade Anderson & Andy Cha are most open to hear your suggestions for future events.
