Details

T'ai Chi Chih is a moving meditation that is closer in spirit to Chi Kung than to the martial art of similar name. We meet for one hour every Thursday and Sunday at Albert Winn Park, located between 27th and 28th streets, and between P and Q streets. Our spot in the park is closer to the Q street boundary.
We begin with a 20 minute warm up, perform T'ai Chi Chih for 35 minutes and end with a 5 minute Hindi chant: Sa ta na ma.
The leader, Elizabeth, is an accredited teacher of T'ai Chi Chih who has been leading T'ai Chi Chih practices for 16 years.
