Day Hike (1A): Point Pinole Regional Shoreline (Sacramento Group)

Details
On the shore of San Pablo Bay, we’ll hike through a restored natural area that once was home to a number of explosives factories, and get a little taste of history in the bargain. This will be a leisurely-paced 4-mile hike on well-maintained trails with very little change in elevation. Bring the essentials, including water, snacks, lunch, sturdy hiking boots, layered clothing due to changeable weather conditions and $$ for carpool drivers. There is a fee for parking and for dogs' entry. Well-behaved owners (leader’s rules) with dogs on leash and under control at all times (park rules) are OK. Rain cancels. Gear list and other information will be provided after approval. Each participant will be required to sign the Sierra Club Sign-In & Waiver Form at the Trailhead. Leaders: Martin Farber 808.283.8988 or [kowsoitwo@gmail.com](mailto:kowsoitwo@gmail.com) and Joel Farber.
