Day Hike (1A): San Francisco--Bernal Heights to Corona Heights (Sacramento Grp)

Join us for a new San Francisco Urban Hike. We will take BART into The City from the Lafayette Station. Our first stop will be Tartine--an amazing French Bakery in the Mission District. Then we'll hike up to Bernal Heights Park and take in the view. On our way down the hill, we'll stop at the Esmerelda Slides for a bit of fun. We will stroll through Noe Valley and stop for lunch at Barney's Gourmet Hamburgers. Next, it's on to the Castro District where we'll try some more slides before making our way up to Corona Heights for another great view of downtown San Francisco. Finally, we'll decide from which BART Station we wish to depart. Bring water, money for lunch, your driver and BART, and a light layer. The hike is 6-7 miles with 400' elevation gain.
