Sitecore 9 Capabilities, Search with SOLR, and Coveo's Road to the Cloud

Join us for an exciting meetup where Sitecore will share highlights of Sitecore 9 capabilities. Additionally, understand search options with presentations about Coveo and SOLR from industry leaders.

Todd Mitchell, Alex Shyba and Lars Petersen from Sitecore will be showcasing and discussing Sitecore 9 highlights and dive into some of the most exciting new capabilities, including xConnect, headless, Sitecore JavaScript Services, marketing automation and personalization.
Todd, Alex and Lars will also give different examples of use cases – including where Sitecore can be utilized to connect to “the next big thing”.

Bhavik Patel from SymSoft Solutions will present using SOLR to enhance search functionality in Sitecore, demonstrating how Sitecore integrates with the search provider to provide a robust and scalable search solution.

Architect Vincent Bernard from Coveo will discuss the challenges you will encounter when undertaking a migration of a Sitecore solution to the cloud, such as getting used to a new technical universe, learning a new pricing model and convincing clients of the cloud approach and how these can be successfully managed. Vincent will speak about Coveo’s evolution as a Sitecore Technology partner from primarily focused on on-prem solutions to one that is primarily cloud based (Coveo Cloud), and will share lessons learned from that experience. Attendees of this talk will learn about Infrastructure, Platform and Solution as a service, Azure Search, Coveo Cloud and CES on-prem, Scalability, Dev Ops.
