Sacramento Slightly Older Cycling Group

Hi Everybody! This time we will ride the Humbug Willow Creek Trail from Amos P. Catlin Park. It's a 5 mile out-back paved path that passes through several neighborhoods. There are some road crossings. A nice, easy ride for beginner riders. No minimum mph speed. We will wait 5 minutes before start.

Bring water and a helmet

Lets get in some cardio and ride 20 miles along the American River Bike Trail. Great ride for getting into hill riding shape. This is a fairly slow ride and we wait for everyone.
The route takes us from Historic Folsom to the Johnny Cash Trail then up to Beals Point. We then ride down the BT along Lake Natoma to the Fish Hatchery. After a short break, we will return to Folsom along the BT.
Be able to maintain an avg speed of at least 10 mph.

There is free parking at the Historic Folsom Garage located at 905 Leidesdorff Street. There is also other free parking in the area. Let's meet outside of the parking garage, across from Karen’s Bakery. We will wait 5 mins before starting.
