Practical Power BI with George Anderson
Details
Power BI is a comprehensive suite of software services, apps, and connectors designed to transform disparate data sources into coherent, visually immersive, and interactive insights. Whether your data originates from an Excel spreadsheet or a hybrid combination of cloud-based and on-premises data warehouses, Power BI empowers you to create compelling visualizations and data-driven narratives. While Power BI is a powerful and flexible tool that can be available to many users and organizations, it is perhaps not widely understood. I am happy to share the results of my (sometimes painful) adventures in learning and understanding how to leverage the many aspects of Power BI to support a number of projects and functional requirements.

George Anderson Jr. is a working data professional with nearly two decades of SQL experience as a developer, administrator, architect, and engineer. He is currently a national VP of Data Analytics. He credits his exposure to SQL, both at work
and through the SQL community, with providing him many great opportunities for learning, growing, and networking. When not designing data and analytics solutions, George enjoys reading, playing golf very poorly, and spending time with friends and family.
