Let's Ride Unicycles

Details
• What we'll do
Let's meet, chat, and ride with other local unicyclists! This location features an expanse of smooth blacktop, some poles that can be used for assisted mounting, and some small features to ride over. There will also be some cones for slalom, and an adjustable hurdle.
New riders are welcome! There will be a least one experienced rider who can help get you started.
Nothing is cooler than watching someone ride for the first time, so please don't hesitate to show up as a fledgling unicyclist. Riding unicycles is fun, and everyone here will be excited about it.
We'll be riding and hanging out at the meeting location until at least 2:00, at which point we may go for a longer ride depending on the makeup of the group.
WHAT TO BRING
Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, and a unicycle (even if you can't ride it yet). Protective gear (helmet, knee pads, wrist guards, etc.) is highly recommended. At a minimum, helmet and gloves. Let's ride safe.
RELEASE OF LIABILITIES
The act of riding a unicycle is a unique activity with a fairly obvious amount of assumed risk involved as the bare price of admission. That being said... By signing up for this meetup, you and your guest(s) agree that you bear all risk and you agree to release us (Sacramento Unicycle Club's organizer, co-organizers and assistant organizers) from claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, now and in the future, arising out of or in any way connected with your participation, transportation to or from, attendance at, or the actions of you or other persons at, a meetup gathering. You further waive any and all rights and benefits otherwise conferred by any statutory or non-statutory law of any jurisdiction that would purport to limit the scope of a release or waiver. You waive and relinquish all rights and benefits which you have or may have under Section 1542 of the Civil Code of the State of California or any similar provision of the statutory or non-statutory law of any other jurisdiction to the full extent that you may lawfully waive all such rights and benefits.
