Beginner Unicycle Workshop

Do you want to learn to ride a unicycle? We can help you get started! If you have a wheel already or not, if super-motivated or just curious, we love to meet you and introduce you to this fun sport. Come out for a short, instructional workshop geared exclusively to new riders. There will be a couple different unicycles to try if you don't already have one.

WHAT TO BRING
Bring water, sunscreen, and a unicycle (if you have one). Protective gear (helmet, knee pads, wrist guards, etc.) are highly recommended. At a minimum, helmet and gloves. Let's ride safe.

RELEASE OF LIABILITIES
The act of riding a unicycle is a unique activity with a fairly obvious amount of assumed risk involved as the base price of admission. That being said... By signing up for this meetup, you and your guest(s) agree that you bear all risk and you agree to release us (Sacramento Unicycle Club's organizer, co-organizers and assistant organizers) from claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown, suspected and unsuspected, disclosed and undisclosed, now and in the future, arising out of or in any way connected with your participation, transportation to or from, attendance at, or the actions of you or other persons at, a meetup gathering. You further waive any and all rights and benefits otherwise conferred by any statutory or non-statutory law of any jurisdiction that would purport to limit the scope of a release or waiver. You waive and relinquish all rights and benefits which you have or may have under Section 1542 of the Civil Code of the State of California or any similar provision of the statutory or non-statutory law of any other jurisdiction to the full extent that you may lawfully waive all such rights and benefits.
