Offering monthly guided Yoga Nidra Meditation classes at the Sacramento Friends Meetinghouse on the first Sunday of each month. Join me for a meditation session that is beginner friendly and requires no experience, no poses, just deep rest and a nervous system reset.

Yoga Nidra is a practice of the 5th Limb of Yoga, Pratyahara, and is translated to "yogic sleep". During this guided practice your body will enter a state of deep rest while your mind remains awake and aware. Research shows that 15 minutes of Yoga Nidra produces the same physiological results as 2 hours of deep sleep!

This practice is utilized by professional athletes to recover from strenuous training, has been proven to reduce cortisol levels, improve insomnia, increase mental clarity and focus, and build new neural pathways to reinforce positive behavioral changes. So, if you're ready to change your life while laying on a yoga mat, this is a great start!
