Riverfront Walk

Riverfront Walk – Downtown, Discovery Park & West Sacramento
Join us for a scenic 3-mile walk through some of Sacramento’s most beautiful riverfront areas. We’ll enjoy relatively flat terrain and great company!

Meeting Spot:
At the corner of U and Front Street.
GPS to California Auto Museum
Free parking is available all along U and Front Street.

Schedule:
🕕 Introductions begin at 6:00 PM
🚶‍♀️ We start walking around 6:05 PM
We usually have 8–12 walkers each week—newcomers are always welcome!
Important:
🌡️ The walk will be canceled if the forecasted high for the day is 95°F or above.

Join our Asian Cooking Classes- We’re excited to invite you to our fun and engaging cooking classes! Each session is open to everyone in the community, and we can’t wait to cook and enjoy delicious meals together.

Sat, August 30, 11 am - Lina's Famous Chicken Drumsticks, Lettuce, and Mustard Greens

Tues, Sept 2, 6 pm - Tofu Pork Egg Drop Soup, Eggplant, Moqua Squash, and Soba Noodles

Sat, Sept 6, 11 am - Healthy Chicken with Bok Choy, Kale, and Tomatoes

Tues, Sept 9, 6 pm - Korean Chicken, Chap Chae Noodles, and Bean Sprouts

Sat, Sept 13, 11 am - Vietnamese Chicken, Viet. Noodles and Daikon Salad

What’s Included: Your meal includes eight delightful items: a protein dish, a vegetable dish, a stir-fry dish, 2 surprise dishes, Jasmine rice, an Asian drink, and fruit.

Each class lasts two hours and includes introductions, veggie prep, cooking, and enjoying dinner together. It’s a fantastic way to learn new recipes and make new friends!
