Sacred Mysteries

The purpose of this group is twofold:

1) To take an honest, realistic look at scriptural texts and open up a discussion around the questions and mysteries that most religions are not able to look at.

2) To create a community for people who feel like they don't quite fit in with any of the available organized religions.

This group is not intended to be anti-religion or get into bash sessions. We will meet at the designated location, and open with an interesting point or idea. The rest of the meeting will be spent in discussion and, if time permits, discussing other interesting topics. Topics may include things like how the bible came to be, the lives of men like Jesus, Moses, Mohammed, etc, biblical timeline, religious traditions, mistranslations in the bible, contradictions in scriptural texts, religion v/s science etc.

There is no cost to attend. Just bring your thoughts, ideas, and critical thinking skills.
