AGENDA

After a short workshop on how to intuitively connect with nature spirits and the spirits of the land to receive messages, we will drum and rattle for clarity before taking a short, self-guided meditative walking journey to retrieve signs and omens in nature.

A discussion of our discoveries and intuition-building exercises will follow in circle

You may set your own pace and distance within the time parameters allotted for this session. It is advised that you wear comfortable walking shoes, bring a jacket and water or some other hydration beverage as well as a folding chair or blanket to sit on as seating is limited. We always travel in pairs for safety.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Have you ever wanted to connect on a deeper level with nature spirits and learn how to receive signs and omens from the natural world such as the land, flora and fauna, the four elements, cardinal directions, seasons, etc., in order to be able to apply their meanings and messages to what's currently happening in your life?

Come join the Organizers of Houston Shamanism and Sacred Circle Shamanism and Metaphysical Meetup groups for this unique intuition-building workshop and outdoor drumming circle.

For those already practicing shamanism and attending our meetings and circles, you will further practice deepening your connection to the natural world by learning how to read signs and omens by intuitively interpreting the spiritual meanings of the 7 directions and the qualities of the elements, as well as the messages presented from wildlife.

After a brief workshop, drumming and rattling, everyone will take a self-guided SILENT walking journey with a partner. We use the buddy system. We will return to the group by the designated time (usually within 15 - 20 minutes) for sharing, discussion and/or journaling about our discoveries.

Bring a bottle or two of water and a healthy snack. Your hosts may provide light refreshments. It is suggested that you bring your own folding chairs or mat to sit on as we have limited seating. A blanket will do fine if you do not mind sitting on the ground.

Please, no children under the age of 15 at this workshop. This event will be held in within a safe, clean, and well-patrolled park, Because it is a private event, the exact location within the park disclosed only to those who RSVP on this Meetup page and pre pay via PayPal. The location may change from month to month.
