Sacramento's Legendary Summer Startup Party is Back
Presented by The Urban Hive and Startup Grind Sacramento In partnership with SacTech Inc., StartupSac, Medstart, and Startup Folsom.
Founded in 2014 as a partnership between Startup Grind Sacramento and The Urban Hive, the Sacramento Summer Startup Party has been the region's premier summer gathering for founders, builders, investors, and community leaders. We're back on Thursday, August 20 — and this year we're going big.

VIP Reception — 5:00–5:30 PM Participating in the Silent Pitch, hosting a resource table, or joining as a partner or sponsor? You're invited to our VIP Reception from 5:00–5:30 PM — complimentary drinks and early access before the general crowd arrives.

Mix, Mingle & Discover — 5:30–8:00 PM This is Sacramento's startup community in one room. Meet fellow founders, connect with investors, discover the startups being built right now, and explore the ecosystem organizations supporting them. Drinks in hand, music in the background — just good people doing interesting things.

Resource Expo — 5:30–7:15 PM Discover the organizations, accelerators, programs, and resources fueling Sacramento's startup ecosystem. Resource tables are active from doors open until voting closes — grab a drink, wander, and find what you didn't know you needed.

Silent Pitch Sacramento's first Silent Pitch competition. Startups pitch without saying a word — just a poster, a room full of people, and a voting ticket. Judges pick one winner. Awards Announcement — 7:30 PM At 7:30 PM we crown our winners. People's Choice — decided by the crowd. Judge's Choice — decided by our panel. Plus three Urban Hive memberships drawn from the night's voters. Don't leave early.

After Party — 7:30–9:00 PM Still standing at 7:30? Good. Sac Tech Inc. is hosting the official after party nearby until 9:00 PM. Venue TBD — follow us for details as we get closer.
