Zarmineh's 50th Birthday Party

Come celebrate my 50th birthday with me! This is a very special year for me. I want to go big-so get ready to go big with me! That means, party hardy!

Wear your dancing shoes. Prep your singing voice. Rest up for a high energy dance party karaoke potluck!

Potluck: I am aiming for a culturally diverse potluck! If you are comfortable sharing a dish from your cultural background, please do!

And, just like most other potlucks, please bring:
~A vegan dish - Can be a main, side, appetizer, or treat!
Keep in mind the birthday girl is GF--Gluten Free! Extra kudos to you if you do me a solid on that one!
~Each person should bring enough for at least 12 people
~Homemade or prepared! Because I know some folks won't be able to bring something homemade-it's totally cool to bring prepp'ed food instead.
(Extra stars for GF Anna's Vegan Cafe, GF Delish pizza, Caring Kitchen or Pushkin's treats!)

Remember to bring with your dish:
~Serving utensils
~Ingredient list
~Your own dinnerware/cup/utensils (I will try to bring extras for those that might forget but I can’t promise anything!)
~Leftovers containers if you want to take anything home (if anything’s left!)

Attire:
On the real, I don't even know what I wanna wear yet! I just know it won't be super casual, but it won't be fancy shmancy either. So I guess I'm saying pick out something in between!

And because I know some of you will ask if I need anything else, the answer is a most definite YES! Gotta make the party a party, right? I'll need:
~DISCO BALLS!!!
~Karaoke machine/mics/speaker (as a back-up for the one we will be using)!!!
~Clean up crew - this new hotspot for vegan foodies, entrepreneurs, and events is very special. I appreciate and respect those who helped me make this happen, and want to leave it c-l-e-a-n-clean! With just 3-4 of us, it won't take long at all! I appreciate you, too!

A special note: If y'all know me, y'all know I'm all about the environment, the animals, and so much more. So, this won't be your traditional party with streamers, balloons, or anything else that would go to waste. It would mean the world to me if you all joined me in my efforts to make this a minimal waste event by leaving balloons, cards and other such single use items at the stores. Have fun -- laugh with friends, listen n move to the groovy beats, enjoy yummy nom noms, give me my birthday hugs...that is what I hope for!
