Walk with a Doc
Do you enjoy walking? Join me for a walk in Ancil Hoffman Park, 6700 Tarshes Dr, Carmichael, CA 95608. Sunday, August 2, 2027 at 7 AM. Meet in the parking lot to the left of the entrance gate. Park Fees $8 vehicle or $70 for an annual pass. This pass is good at all the Sacramento Regional Parks.

Dogs are not allowed in the Nature Center area so please do not bring your dog.

Although I have a Doctorate in Nursing, I am not your doctor. Please make sure you are ready and able to take this walk. Please look at the weather for the day and plan accordingly. This is approximately a 3-mile walk on a trail that surrounds the perimeter of the Ancil Hoffman park. There are many ups and downs. The trail is made of dirt, and stones are on the trail as well.
Things to bring, walking sticks, water, snacks, a friend. We will meet at 7 AM and be starting the walk by 7:15 AM. This area is wooded, insects (potentially ticks, etc.) are on the trail, coyotes, hawks, rattlesnakes, geese, and many animals have been seen on this trail. Please be aware of this as you plan your attire.
