ABSTRACT
In this talk, Niclas Gyllenram will give his view on why the automotive industry consistently has been failing with software development in general, and with connected services in particular. He will explain his analysis on the underlying reasons, why we've ended up where we are, the current status, and projections of what the future holds.

BIO
Niclas Gyllenram is a worldwide recognized expert on automotive software development, infotainment and connected vehicles. He has worked at Volvo Cars, where he started and lead Volvo's development together with Google, on what became the world's first Android Automotive based infotainment system. Before that, he used to be with Ericsson building cloud solutions for connected vehicles, and worked for several years at Mitsubishi Electric as a supplier of infotainment systems to premium OEMs.
