ABSTRACT
Artificial intelligence is fundamentally transforming how vehicles are designed, developed, and engineered. From generative design to predictive validation, AI-driven engineering platforms are enabling OEMs to significantly accelerate product development, reduce costs, and accelerate innovation.
This presentation will explore how leading mobility-tech companies are adopting engineering intelligence tools to streamline design workflows, optimize component development, and improve system-level integration. We will cover the key technical enablers, common implementation challenges, and the emerging role of AI in product design and validation across global teams. Designed for innovators and decision-makers, this session highlights how AI is not just an R&D experiment but a practical tool reshaping the engineering backbone of OEMs.

BIO
Thomas von Tschammer is the Managing Director US at Neural Concept. He graduated from EPFL (Switzerland) with a background in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Vision.
He then worked as a researcher at EPFL’s Computer Vision Laboratory, where he developed the first AI model architectures tailored for 2D–3D engineering data. These models have since become industry standards in AI-driven workflows.
Thomas later co-founded Neural Concept as a spin-off from EPFL. After serving as Director of Operations in Switzerland, he is now the General Manager for the U.S., leading the company’s rapid expansion across North America. His role involves close collaboration with C-level executives across Fortune 500 companies, helping them integrate AI-driven design workflows to accelerate innovation and enhance product performance.
