The San Antonio Environmental Meetup

Join us and other members of the community to help manage the gardens and habitat.

This can involve trail maintenance, removal of invasive species, and planting native plants for birds and butterflies depending on the tasks of the day. All training provided. All children 18 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Make sure to wear some boots, long pants, and bring some gloves, and something to drink.

Don't be shy if there's only one or two volunteers from this group, because Mitchell Lake usually gets at least six or seven other people showing up.

Let’s celebrate our farmers and our veggies by buying local fresh in season produce. In San Antonio we’re lucky to have year round farmers markets. So, let’s get together and enjoy some coffee while shopping for our veggies.

If you don’t see your area, no worries, we’ll be getting together at the various farmers markets around the city!

Join us and the Green Space Alliance for a guided hike at the Bulverde Oaks Nature Preserve that will explore the preserve and focus on conservation easements and land stewardship.

The event is free and open to the public, with individual sign-ups encouraged through the GSA website.

Be sure to bring shoes for trails that can sometimes be uneven or a little muddy. A hat, sunscreen, & water bottle, would also be handy.
