SAGE (Social Autism Group Events)

Hi everyone 👋🏻
I have been recommended to organise an Ellis Brook Valley Reserve walk.
We will all meet in Valley Head Car Park at 8:30am. Google maps position of this Car Park is https://maps.app.goo.gl/ALJEnnmgTzg77hWo8?g_st=com.google.maps.preview.copy.
Address of this carpark is Rushton Rd, Martin WA 6110.
Please note that I do start these walks early in the morning before it gets hot and there is plenty of car parking spots at the meeting spot for this event, unfortunately I can't find a way to get to the meeting spot via public transport, so if you don't have your own transport to get to the meeting spot, you will then have to arrange car pooling with another attendee.
Just remember to wear good walking shoes and clothes for walking and depending on how hot it’s going to be, bring plenty of water and sunscreen also. Bring a raincoat too should they forecast rain that day.

It’s about times put something on for our northern kin and here it is 🙂

We will meet at 5pm at Grill’d Kingsway, order a burger, and than game on.

This will be a friendly, relaxed event, you are welcome to bring along your own games but nothing to adult or complex.

I will book a table in my name. There is plenty of free parking around and there are also plenty of buses as we are on Waneroo road.

SAGE is a social group run by autistic for autistic people, you don’t need a formal diagnosis to join and support people are welcome.

SAGE acknowledges that we are meeting on the traditional country of the Noongar people of the South West and pays respect to Elders past and present.

The activities are scheduled for 1 hour but can go as long as people want to play. The host has a Zoom premium membership so we are not limited to 40mins.

We will also have break rooms, if people just want to hang out in another chat room and chat with others, if not playing Jackbox.

Timeline
7.20pm Host will be online
7.30pm Official Start, with introductions if new people
7.35pm Starting Jackbox
8.30pm-8.35pm Official finish time
9.30pm Latest we can go to end time.

Come along for a night of casual games and community at U&I

We will have a table booked for 615pm, it’s a good idea to order at the counter on arrival so we can get the eating done and the table cleared for the games to start.

Feel free to bring your own games along if you can show others how to play them, but nothing too complex or rude. And its fine to just chat if that is too your preference.

There will be multiple games happening at once so feel free to move if a game isn’t too your liking, and please respect that there will be senory sensitivitie at this event.

The food at U&I is really good and affordable too.
