Immersive Art Exhibit
Great Lakes Sailing, 315 W Montrose Ave Dock H, Chicago, IL, USWhere Wings Meet Water is an immersive outdoor art experience coming to Chicago’s lakefront at Montrose Harbor. In collaboration with Sail Her Dreams, Great Lakes Sailing, and LivingGallery, this vibrant exhibit brings together local, national, and international artists to transform the shoreline into a dynamic meeting place of art, wind, and water.
Set against the natural beauty of the harbor and where migratory birds glide above the lake and sails catch the wind, this exhibit invites visitors to explore large-scale installations, interactive works, and site-responsive pieces inspired by movement, nature, and the spirit of exploration.
Designed to engage the senses and celebrate creativity across cultures, the exhibition offers a unique opportunity to experience art in dialogue with the elements. Visitors can view artworks, meet participating artists, and connect with the creative energy of Chicago’s lakefront community.

Montrose Sanctuary Bird Walk
Great Lakes Sailing, 315 W Montrose Ave Dock H, Chicago, IL, USJoin our group of sailors and Matt Igleski, Executive Director of the Chicago Bird Alliance, for a guided exploration of the renowned Montrose Bird Sanctuary. Whether you’re a seasoned birder or a curious newcomer, you’ll walk away with a richer understanding of local species, the wonders of migration, and the vital importance of the Montrose habitat to our ecosystem.
