We've been enjoying meals together since July 1, 2017.
This is a group for anyone interested in getting out and enjoying all the awesome restaurants in and around St. Charles County. We mainly go to St. Charles, St. Peters, and O'Fallon, but also sometimes go Augusta/Defiance, Cottleville, Wentzville, and Lake St Louis. A few times a year, we do meals in St. Louis or Illinois.
I have my favorites - I'm sure you do too. Suggestions from members are not only welcome, they're encouraged!
One way we're different than many other dining out groups is that the restaurants that are chosen are not necessarily my personal favorites. In fact, we often go to restaurants I've never tried (and one that's loved by many members but I don't like)! When you join, you'll have an opportunity to tell me your personal favorites. (You can always add to your list later.) When I schedule our Meetups, I'll select a restaurant suggested by someone born during that month. Occasionally, I'll list several restaurants that have been suggested by quite a few members and ask our "Dining Out Foodies" to vote where we should go.
I try to make our Meetups a mix of dinners, lunches, brunches, and breakfasts; a mixture of inexpensive and more pricey Meetups; a mixture of cuisines; and a mixture of days throughout the week. I also try to schedule a couple Meetups a year that aren't strictly eating out at a restaurant or in St. Charles County. We've been to the Whitmond House in Brussels, Illinois and had parties in January and July.

I generally schedule at least one Meetup per week - often two, except around the winter holidays.
Let's share our current favorite restaurants, find new ones, and make new friends along the way.
Our yearly dues are $7.50. If you pay me in cash, dues are only $6.00. You'll have a 30 day trial before being required to pay dues. This amount covers membership in both my groups.
SINCE WE HAVE TO PLACE RESERVATIONS FOR ALL OUR MEETUPS, IT'S VERY IMPORTANT WE HAVE AN ACCURATE COUNT OF THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO WILL ATTEND. Members who RSVP yes but do not attend (a no show), make our Meetup look bad in the eyes of restaurant owners, force restaurant owners to save table space they could use for paying customers and bring in extra workers, and make members who attend wait for you. THEREFORE, ANY MEMBER WHO IS A NO SHOW 3 TIMES WILL BE PERMANENTLY REMOVED FROM THE GROUP.

Life happens—if you can’t make it, please update your RSVP at least 24 hours ahead so someone else can take your spot. We do track no-shows and late cancellations to keep things fair for everyone. If you reach 3+ late cancellations and/or no-shows, you may be removed from the group. Thanks for helping keep our dinners fun and smooth!
