What we’re about

Japanese Sake is a unique and awesome beverage that is often misunderstood. I would love to meet other sake enthusiasts to share and learn more about sake.
Sake Enthusiast Group Is for people living in Singapore to be able to experience more of this beverage. Each meetup, we will be able to taste an average of 20 different types of Japanese sake. We will try our best to give a theme to each meetup, to allow our members to broaden their sake palates. 
We are a small, but tight and growing community. A few things you can expect from joining us.

  1. Friendly and welcoming group, usually about 2/3 locals.
  2. Large variety of sake to sample and enjoy. Our sake sponsor, Inter Rice Asia Pte Ltd often has sake samples from breweries not only from Japan, or special sakes that are usually not sold in Singapore.
  3. Diverse and interesting venues for our sessions.
  4. Knowledgeable host to answer most if not all of your sake queries.
  5. We will occasionally organise master classes by sake brewers, to teach you more about sake.

  4. RSVP responsibly. I will record "no shows' and members with no shows will not get priority for events with limited seats. If you cannot make it, please state it on the website as soon as possible/sms me so I can allow seating for people on the waiting list.
