The class is for the people that are in CoHort A. That would be the people that have been coming since the beginning. Please don't sign up unless you're in Cohort A.

Continue getting comfortable with the material we've covered so far. We will work on listening and speech production.

Book: Spanish Verb Tenses 4th or 5th edition by Dorothy Richmond. It will be helpful to purchase this book, and I know many of you have already said you plan to.

Before Class: Please review Ch. 2 on Ser and Estar.

Description:
This event will help support beginner language learners that have a desire and passion for speaking Spanish! No experience necessary. It is recommended that if you attend this event, that you also attend other events from the group to utilize what you are learning in class.

I will try to print some activities at the library for everyone. We will practice reading, writing, speaking, and listening.

Attendance:
I'm volunteering my time and skills to teach for this event. So please be on time, this event is only an hour. If you are not able to make it please update your RSVP. If you are running late or can't make it at the last minute, please communicate. No-shows with no communication will not be permitted to attend another instruction event. Cancelations 30 minutes before or any time after the event starts, with no communication, will not be permitted to attend future instruction events.

Life is complicated and things come up, if you are not able to come or need to cancel last minute please communicate.

This event is for all skill levels. this isn't a class. this event is our regular monthly social meeting. It's a week later than usual because of Easter.

It's always valid to come and do your best!

if you are a beginner, you may want to study how to conjugate -ar, -er, and -ir verbs. Learn: Hablar, caminar, Comer, beber

if you're intermediate: Study Gustar (A mi me gusta(n), etc)

come out and enjoy some conversation in Spanish! We will wait 30 minutes. If no one is there by 1:30pm we will assume people aren't coming and leave. Meet in dining / lounge area.

Salem Spanish is a social group for speaking in Spanish. All skill levels welcome, from new learners to native speakers. Roth's has coffee and beer. Come enjoy a drink if you wish by it's not required.

There will be free time to converse, a tip of the day instruction for those interested, and some discussion prompts to widen vocabulary.

This group is a safe place for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals. All conversations will be respectful to marginalized groups.
