Película en español
Details
Hi Everyone!
We discussed doing special events every couple of months. December was Tamales, but February is a movie. This event is for intermediate to advanced Spanish speakers. We will watch the movie in Spanish with Spanish subtitles if they are available.
The event will happen at my house, so we have to have met you before you can attend this event. The event is open to 5 participants besides myself and John for a total of seven. The couch seats 5 and John and I can sit on something else.
Lets arrive around 4:30pm to say hello and get situated, the movie will start at 5pm sharp. We can take 30 minutes after the movie to discuss it if we'd like, or people can go on their merry ways.
Below are my suggestions. Leave a comment on your preference! I've found movies from different areas that give a glimpse into local culture, with little to no violence or sexual themes. Some of them do cover tense topics however or have implied violence. I have never seen any of these movies but from my research they look like good candidates.
