Practice Spanish!

***I'm going to look for a new location that isn't so loud.

I'll provide some study tips/direction here in the event description. you can study them or not, no pressure either way. It's always valid to come and do your best!

beginners: We worked on, estar/ser last time. we'll take some time to go over and practice them some more.

intermediate: study the past simple (preterit tense). we can work on story telling using this tense if there's interest.

Intermediate/advanced is doing a book club. we'll take some time to discuss the piece we picked.***

come out and enjoy some conversation in Spanish! We will wait 30 minutes. If no one is there by 1:30pm we will assume people aren't coming and leave. Meet in dining / lounge area.

Salem Spanish is a social group for speaking in Spanish. All skill levels welcome, from new learners to native speakers. Roth's has coffee and beer. Come enjoy a drink if you wish by it's not required.

There will be free time to converse, a tip of the day instruction for those interested, and some discussion prompts to widen vocabulary.

This group is a safe place for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC individuals. All conversations will be respectful to marginalized groups.
