The Salem Massachusetts Wiccan Meetup

It's the height of summer and who doesn't love ice cream! So let's have a casual, low pressure, fun get together in Salem's most whimsical shop!

This is for all of you who have felt isolated and solitary in your magical practice - while living in the Witch City! For those who don't want the drama and rigidity of "coven" life - but still want to make friends, find connection and community, and feel a sense of belonging.

This can become a monthly event with enough community support! No purchase is necessary. All participants have the opportunity to receive a "pixie" sized ice cream of your choice - free, on the house - and leave with a coupon for your return visit at a later date.

Whimsy's is Queer, Pagan owned and operated. We practice Radical Whimsy in all that we do - respect for all is just the minimum! So we ask that all come together in the spirit of curiosity, openness, and fun. Any divisiveness, harassment, "witchier-than-thou" egos, or general jerkiness will be turned away.

Join us Saturday September 5, 2026 from 2:00pm-5:00pm for Class 5 in our year long, once a month, Wicca 101 class series.

Our intention for this series is to help you build your understanding of the Wiccan religion, attain magical skills and competencies and to dig deep into all aspect of "first degree" (and beyond) learning.

Class 5 will build upon our learning by discussing the classical elements used in Magic: Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Spirit. We will introduce ourselves to their ritual/magical use, history, and begin to develop a personal relationship with the elements through guided visualization.

This is CLASS 5, in our Wicca 101 course, which meets once a month; attendance at this class isn't mandatory for attendance at later Wicca 101 classes; but it is highly recommended.

All levels of experience are welcomed. Cornucopia is a pluralistic community, we value all! Any tradition or level of learning/experience is welcomed!

This class is being offered at a fee of $35 per person. Please use the meetup.com PayPal function, use Venmo @CornucopiaCollective, or notify your organizer (via meetup) to RSVP if you plan to pay Cash in person.

In Person Location: 9 North Street, Salem, MA 01970 (please use side door, there is no onsite parking - street/lot/garage parking only, 5 minute walk from commuter rail).

Join us on Sunday September 20, 2026 at 4:00 pm for the First Day of Autumn and the Feast Day of Mabon!

In the spirit of the season, this ritual will focus on transforming loss into strength. We will honor Demeter the Great Mother Goddess of the Harvest and her daughter Persephone as she descends into the Underworld for the dark half of the year.

It’s a high feast day! Following the ritual we will enjoy a pitch-in meal. For the sake of ease, if your name begins with the letters A-N please bring an entrée dish, if your name begins with O-S please bring a vegetable or fruit dish, if your name begins with T-Z feel free to bring a dessert or snack food. Beverages will be provided (water & soft drinks).

Gathering and social time begins at 4:00pm. Pre-Ritual Intro's begins at at 4:20 pm, ritual starts at 4:45pm. Once the ritual has begun no late comers will be permitted to enter the room until the doors are opened again at the end of the ritual.

This ritual is being offered for a fee of $30.00 per person, this fee helps us cover operational costs and the continuation of Cornucopia's mission.
