Salinas X

Welcome to Salinas X, an artistic co-working studio and residency located at Carrer Salinas, 10, in the vibrant, creative heart of the Gràcia neighbourhood in Barcelona. This space is uniquely designed by an artist, for artists—built specifically to foster genuine creativity, experimentation, and artistic growth rather than clinical productivity.
From the outside, the studio blends into the charming, historic streets of Gràcia, hinting at the traditional craftsmanship and local culture within. Once you step inside, you will find an honest, collective, and highly inspiring workshop environment. The interior is designed to support a multi-disciplinary community, thoughtfully structured to give painters, sculptors, illustrators, and designers the comfort of expression they need to work at their own pace.

Furniture & Included Amenities

The physical workspace is fully equipped to support diverse fine art and design practices. Each resident member receives:
• Personal working area: A dedicated, private spot tailored to the size of your studio tier.
• Studio furniture: Sturdy worktables, seating, and specialized storage suitable for art supplies, canvases, and creative gear.
• Shared spaces: Access to collective zones for experimentation, mentorship, and dialogue, alongside a gallery area showcasing work by our residents.

Services & Community Benefits

We are much more than a simple studio rental. We emphasize the "Sin prisa pero sin pausa" (Without rush, but without pause) philosophy through a rich fabric of social and creative services:
• Mentoring & Feedback: One 1:1 professional mentoring session per month.
• Dialogue & Critique: Access to our monthly critique circles and regular artist talks.
• Networking & Events: Invitation to all network nights, gallery openings, and community moments.
• Social Fabric: Access to community lunches to connect and share experiences with fellow makers.
• Workshops: Intimate, small-group learning sessions with resident and guest artists, plus discounted workshop tickets.

Customisation, Equipment, & Rules

• Space Customisation: Because we cater to makers, painters, and sculptors, renters are welcome to bring their own specialized equipment and tools to advance their practice.
• House Rules: While we embrace a wide variety of artistic fields, the space is strictly dedicated to the creation, critique, and exhibition of fine arts and design. Activities that conflict with a shared, collaborative studio environment—such as loud, disruptive industrial manufacturing or purely corporate, non-creative commercial activities—are not welcome.

Booking Conditions & Response Time

• Special Conditions: Physical spaces are allocated via our Salinas X Membership. Prices vary based on the specific studio size and the duration of your stay, with flexible renewal options available.
• Non-Resident Option: If you do not need a physical workspace but want to join our creative fabric, we offer the Community Pass. This gives you full access to our critique circles, network nights, mentoring, and social events without occupying a physical spot.
• Average Answer Time: We value your time and typically respond to all membership and booking enquiries within a few hours.
